The cleaner must have been a smoker because the room smelled like cigarettes when we checked in but the smell was gone when we came back later that night. The bedding was in rough shape. Essentially, it was what you would expect from a 2-star motel. If you go in with that mindset, you're fine. If you're expecting something else, keep driving."
