“The whole property is run down and not kept properly. The carpets are old and smelly. There’s an old tobacco smell. When we went to the room assigned to us our allergies started acting up and there was no safety lock in the room. It looked like it had been removed. We went back to the reception desk, but nobody was there. Also called the phone that was posted on the door, but no one answered. We just left a message that we were leaving and left the keys in the box. Very disappointed that Expedia……

“I know this isn't a five star property, but the office staff could make some effort. I am tired of staff who treat guests like they're an inconvenience. This could explain why the parking lot was half empty during my week's stay. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff were delightful and very engaging. They made me feel welcome and valued. Also, this may be the first motel in a resort town that didn't have an ice machine. On the positive side, the motel is located on the north end of the main……
