Among the many updates afforded this home includes a new in-ground, private, heated pool. A large great room with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and plenty of seating leads to a covered screened porch and adjacent sunbathing deck. Stroll down the private boardwalk to enjoy the splendorous white sand beach and sparkling waters. This home sets at the very end of the developed land on the Cape and nearly adjacent to an additional seven miles of undeveloped beach and dunes to explore. Cape San Blas is a place where families come to relax, friends unite, and memories are made. This fifteen mile west-facing peninsula in the panhandle of Florida offers amazing white sand beaches, emerald gulf waters and the highest dunes on the gulf coast. The home sets only a couple of miles from TH Stone Memorial State Park and a plethora of untouched tropical nature. The town of Port St Joe is a twenty-minute drive where you will find plenty of restaurants, shopping and a full-service marina. There are a lot of steps leading down from the boardwalk to the beach, if you plan to use a beach cart, be prepared to carry it up & down a lot of steps! 2 of the king masters share a bath, which was a bit different, but I was aware it was laid out this way, so it wasn’t a problem for us. We were able to watch both the sunrises and the sunsets from the house!!! Overall, it was a great week & we enjoyed our stay. It was a much needed relaxing vacation. The property views are breathtaking, as are the sunsets. The pool was a great plus on the days we did not want to go to the beach. There were ample chairs by the pool and on the screened in porch. The kitchen was well supplied with mixers, silverware, dinner ware, etc. The eating area had 8 chairs-accommodating all of us. T here is a big screened in porch, patio doors and beach view from the master bedroom and one of the guest rooms. There is also a sun deck for tanning. The master has a great bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and there were enough bath towels and bed linens. Suggest supplying enough beach towels so there is one for each guest. The house has a great set up, allowing all parties privacy. The dryer did not work very well and the icemaker was broke-both but those were small inconveniences. The beach gear rental company is very much worth the cost-highly recommend it. Everything was perfect, the weather, the uncrowded beach and of course the accommodations. When not on the beach, we had our own private pool to enjoy. The location is wonderful and secluded. Just what we were looking for. The living space and kitchen area gracious and vaulted which is hard to see from the online photos. We enjoyed every day spend there with morning walks - you can see sunrise from the kitchen window and sunset from back porch. The local seafood market just down the road was a perfect spot for fresh seafood.
