Potsdam Vacation Packages
Potsdam offers visitors some interesting places to visit. Clarkson University and the State University of New York-Potsdam are both worth checking out.
While it can be tempting to just chill out when visiting Potsdam, keep in mind that Adirondack Region's treasure-trove of scenic and cultural delights await. Moira, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the southwest, and Ogdensburg, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the east of Potsdam are good spots to check out if you have the time.
Around 55 miles (89 kilometers) to the southeast of Potsdam is Lake Placid, a regional center where you'll find Olympic Jumping Complex, Adirondack Equine Center and Lake Placid Center for the Arts. Ensure you don't head back to Potsdam until you've stopped by Lake Placid's Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum, Olympic Sports Complex and Lake Placid.
For those who love to make the most of winter, Adirondack Region could be an excellent place to go. Follow the lead of the locals and enjoy cross-country skiing and snowboarding. If you tend to take things easy when you are on a holiday, Adirondack Region has some good relaxing activities that will suit you perfectly, like picnicking and camping.
Even the best vacation can't last forever, so when it's time fly home, head to the nearest major airport in Massena, 19 miles (31 kilometers) away.
