“Clean, great host, and great place to stay”

“We had an excellent time staying in this cottage. There was enough space for everyone. on a beautiful shallow lake, great for young kids. Walking distance into downtown Sundridge with a beach, restaurants, shops, grocery store and a fresh water spring close by to refill drinking water. We would definitely stay again. Only downside was having to take our garbage with us in the end and we were not provided a ticket from the host to drop off at the local dump. Otherwise excellent place for families...

“Very comfortable. We were there for a family 50th wedding anniversary so didn’t get to enjoy the area too much. Deer are all around and are very chill!Thanks Kim”

“Great location in Callander. Rental unit has all amenities and walking distance close to beach area and restaurants. The rental unit could have been cleaner as we had to sweep and wipe down counter tops.”

“Me and my partner had an amazing stay here! The hosts are very generous with accommodations and really make the place feel welcoming. They’re also very easy to communicate with during your stay. Everything was fully stocked and clean. It’s in a great location with many activities near by. I highly recommend staying here, we plan to visit again in the future.”

“We spent 23 nights here. Andrea, who was nearby, was very helpful in quickly answering a few questions we had about the internet, the thermostat and the TV service. She supplied us with some kitchen staples when we ran out of them. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend her rental.”

The water was nice for swimming, the kitchen was great, and the general space had lots of places for people to hang out and relax. It was lovely and quiet, and not too close to the neighbours. The host was extremely responsive to all our questions, and very pleasant to deal with. Overall, I highly recommend this cottage! ”

“We couldn’t have asked for a nicer week away from it all! It’s a beautiful, well-taken care of house ready for guests on a gorgeous lakeside lot. We enjoyed the lake – made some attempts at fishing from the dock, did lots of swimming, paddling/kayaking, and equal portions of just taking it easy most days, but we also ventured to North Bay for the mid-day boat cruise and some exploring which was fun. Thanks for making your family’s home available, Shawna. ”

“We had a peaceful great time, everything was well kept and beautiful area. You do have to share the canoes/water crafts with the Neighbor’s. But they were nice”

“We had a terrific week in July 2025 here. We have a large group (11people) ranging for age 90-19, family and extended family. Really great to have all the space to spread out. Lake home has lots of space and great sleeping areas as well as gathering spaces (kitchen/dining/living area). Dave the owner is easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. Lots of water toys to use too. We will be back!”
