“Very nice new unit, air conditioning works very well, roomy, well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely private patio with sun loungers and a million dollar view of funchal and the ocean far below. Has a washer and dryer that do not dry to north american standards, you have to leave clothes out on the patio, but that is like every place we have rented in Portugal so far. A high end dining road with numerous restaurants including a Michelin two star, but also with more reasonable options, is a block away...

“The apartment was in a perfect location, well equipped and decorated beautifully. I’ve stayed in a few different air bnb’s and this is by far my favourite. The only feed back is that we felt the floor was quite dirty as our feet would be extremely dirty after walking around. Overall i’d recommend this apartment to everyone and we’ve decided that we will use it when we come back to Madeira.”

“The condominium that we stayed at in Funchal was very nice. It is an uphill hike of about 2 city blocks from the main street that runs down to the ocean. The location was great for foot travel to the main center of the city and most all of your needs are within a 2 kilometer walk.”

“The apartment is immaculate, very well decorated and has an incredible view. The host manages a number of properties so every time we had a question there was time spent explaining at which property we were staying which was frustrating. There was so much written communication from the host beforehand that I had to plow through emails to find the check-in process which did not make much sense. There was missing (the code to get in is through the basement door not the front door) and inaccurate...
