“Very impressive property with amazing views, many areas for sitting and enjoying the property. Garden areas, pool areas, outdoor dining areas. The inside was gorgeous, with a great kitchen, but we spent most of our time outside. Beautiful bedrooms, full gym, sauna, movie room, etc. So many great parts to the property.”

“The house was spotless and a good location to get on highway. It was near the airport and could hear planes landing and taking off but did not hear planes after 11 p m. The owner lives in lower level and was very nice but did not speak much English and I do not speak Portuguese so checking in was a little complicated. I liked the location it was not as busy as Funchal and overlooked the mountains. The island is spectacular and would definitely recommend a stay on this island. ”

“Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Das Haus hat eine große Garage mit direktem Zugang……

“Just returned from a lovely holiday in the amazing Quinte Marefe. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The views are lovely and especially good at sunset. There are some lovely restaurants/bars within walking distance. Roderick was the most amazing host, can’t recommend him or Quinte Marefe enough”
