“We had a beautiful snowstorm for the weekend. The cottage is cozy and warm. The view is beautiful with a tranquil, peaceful setting. It is close to town. ”

“Overall it was a wonderful experience at the location. We were surprised it did not have air conditioning because the first day we arrived, it was hot and humid. Luckily the owner had fans available for us to use. The weather cooled down and everything else was great! ”

“The property was beautiful! Cozy and had everything we needed right there. Lake was less than 5 minute walk from the cabin. Deer came right up to the property. Will definitely be back- perfect for couples. ”

“Overall, we had a really great time at Haven by the Falls. The icemaker was a nice touch, and we enjoyed reading the vintage fishing books in the living room. The location right in the county park was super fun. For the price, I wish they would have disclosed that there was no air-conditioning. It was a very hot weekend in July. The beds and bedding were also pretty uncomfortable. Again, for the price I would’ve expected something a little better. ”

“The cabin is very clean and the kitchen has all the utensils you need. We cook breakfast evry day without a problem. I slept on the large bed and it was very comfortable. One morning I had 2 very large bald eagles fly about 30 feet over our cabin. They have a nest right behind the cabin. Great location right on Big St Germain lake, almost right in between Eagle River and Minocqua.”

“Road’s End Retreat was very comfortable for me and my family both inside the house and out. It was tight for our group of 7 plus 2 dogs, but doable even for such a large group. Sunsets on the lake were gorgeous, and we enjoyed the 5 Kayaks plus rowboat that they had. We loved that all 7 of us could go out on the lake at the same time. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!”

“Nestled in the woods, this little cottage is quiet, peaceful and serene. The cottage is well appointed and decorated tastefully in Northwoods chic. A short walk takes you to a great fire pit/conversation area with a lovely view of the lake. There are also several good supper clubs nearby! This venue is perfect for any couple’s special retreat!”

“We had a wonderful stay. The pictures are spot on. The cottage is decorated beautifully and is well stocked with all of your kitchenware and paper products needs. Communication with the owner is prompt. The pier is sturdy, has tie offs, and bumper fenders. ”

“This cute little cabin is set in a quiet area on Big Arbor Vitae Lake just steps from the shore. It is small, as advertised, but you won’t spend much time inside when the outside is so inviting! It has everything you need and the owners, along with the property managers, were friendly and immediately responded to messages. There is a fire pit and plenty of firewood, a grill, a dock, and so much to do near by. We could not have asked for more. Our thanks to our hosts. We will be back!”
