“The rooms were very clean. Since there was no front desk, communication on arrival with hosts was challenging. Other than that, they were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very delicious, made of pure and whole ingredients.”

“This was the highlight of our stay in Portugal. The owners of the property (Marta and Iker) are fabulous hosts. They made us feel completely at home. As both of them have experience in the restaurant trade, breakfast (which is included) and snacks were exemplary. They make their own jams/preserves and will even cook you a three course meal if you wish. They were very helpful in giving us advice as to where to visit around Viseu / Tondela and the surrounding area. I watched a World Cup game, on……

“If you’re driving watch out the hotel is easy to miss, it’s on your right hand side as you go up the steep narrow street. If possible turn into the side road just before the hotel and park near the junction. The hotel car park is not far from there. Lovely quiet situation but not far from the town centre. Nice room with comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful palace and it was truly great value for money. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, with daily cleaning service that made our stay even more comfortable. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature and peaceful countryside, with lovely farm animals adding to the charm. One of our favourite parts was the amazing wildlife pond filled with frogs and beautiful water lilies, as well as the picturesque olive orchard. The breakfast buffet was……

“Great location, We kept it as a base to move south and north. Very nice hotel. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was great, Parking inside the hotel had issues as the beams very close but that is a structural issue how it was made. Liked the hotel over all”
