“We were on the 6th floor. In renovations but still good. Major changes to this hotel that was the Prince Rupert Hotel. 50 years ago I stayed there on the same floor. Breakfast was okay, basic but well supplied for a continental breakfast.”

“We stayed at the Highliner after we were told the building had been renovated. Construction could still be heard late into the evening. We checked in and the windows looked like they had been cleaned with a cloth. The floors were quite dirty and neither of the room cards worked for the door. There is no AC in the building which was a bummer. Beds are very firm, old, and thin enough you could feel the springs through them. We would not stay here again”

“I’ve stayed here for several years, but this visit was disappointing. The host’s communication was unexpectedly rude both late at night and early in the morning, despite us being quiet and respectful guests. The tone and timing of the messages made the stay uncomfortable, and it no longer feels like the welcoming place it used to be.”
