“The stay was very casual. We had a chance to converse with other traveller's. At first there was some confusion about the booking and advance notice which the owner didn't seem too concerned about. Breakfast was good and our pet was welcomed. We would stay there again.”

“Staff were all good & helpful. Facility is a bit tired. Checking in at 1 am was a bit of a challenge with the main doors locked but understand why now.”

“The hotel was very clean and a short taxi ride (~C$12) from the ferry and rail terminal. It was downtown and only a short walk to Safeway and the tourist area of Cow Bay. Thanks to all the staff that made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was fresh and very nice.”

“First day there trapped in the elevator for 5 minutes and the cleaning staff left someone else's used Gatorade bottle in our room also there was 3 of us in the room and I had to go down twice for extra towels. It was street parking and supposedly property parking which I found out later on the second day it was out back beside the old RCMP Building But I was never told this at the start.”

“We were not aware that people & animals were living in the house at the time we made our reservation.Had a woman below us that, verbally threatened us, entered our ‘suite’ twice without invitation & screamed at us for being up late & talking (no security between downstairs & upstairs for us I tied a rope to this door knob to the stairway hand railing so as the door could not be pulled open again, but it was! Also no locking door between shared laundry & our suite used a chair to secure this……
