“Exceptional. The property is gorgeous, a bit quaint but works with the “being in the jungle feel”. From walking around at night, to getting up for breakfast, it was all very good. Staff are attentive, and answer questions via WhatsApp. We stayed at a 5 star hotel on the Brazil side but La Aldea was a better stay. Gracias!”

““GLAMPING” is the exact perfect word for this hotel! You are in the jungle. This is a few miles out of town on a dirt road, so it does take a bit of extra time and effort to get there. The “tents” are permanent structure on stilts. Maybe a bit more like a fancy hut! You can see the “bones” of the structure from inside, and it felt almost like being inside a huge whale’s rib cage!
