“Die Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sind in die Jahre gekommen, demnach alles etwas abgewohnt. Allerdings alles sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal und ein traumhafter Garten mit Faultieren, Agutis, Brüllafen, Leguanen, Tukanen etc.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic time at Villas Pina! Stayed 4 nights here in April. The 6 rooms all have the same layout and are very practical and spacious. There is a small kitchen with a large fridge, safety box and 2 queen beds! Also there is a large veranda and you get coffee every morning before breakfast, which we very much enjoyed while watching one of the sloth in the mango tree in front of us. The owners Sharon and Eric were really helpful and explained everything and gave some……

“i’ve stayed there several times before for some reason they’ve taken all the low-level lighting out of the room. The only light in the rooms are for recessed lights, which are very bright. I felt like it was been a Walmart.”

The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly.”

“Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.”

“Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights……
