This resort was by far the cleanest place I’ve stayed at thus far. The staff was the sweetest and our concierge Ricardo went above and beyond to ensure that our daughter’s 21st bday trip was absolutely amazing. We would definitely recommend this resort and plan to return ourselves.

Our room was ground level and faced a smaller, quieter pool. The resort has many nice walking paths including a lit path that runs around the perimeter of the resort, which we walked every evening. We used the gym many times during our stay which had what we needed as well as fresh fruit, clean towels and water. The beach area at Occidental Punta Cana is beautiful. It has plenty of space and lots of lounge chairs. The staff in all areas of the resort were very friendly and helpful. We will however consider time of year for future travel as well as knowing what resorts have large hosted groups of school/college party groups attending.

The view wasn't of the ocean but of the pool area. The overall visit was good. The food was awful and the service was bad. The staff was very slow to accommodate the guests with services needed. I would go back to Punta Cana but stay at a different resort.

Very courteous staff, friendly and helpful. Pools were gorgeous and well maintained. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and neat. The food is the only downfall. Very bland and repeated thru the week. Our group of 7 - 5 had digestive issues. Would i go here again? Yes, because i dont go on vacation for food.

Very nice resort for the price. I've stayed at better resorts, but not at this price point. Food in the main buffet was only OK, but the specialty restaurants were all very good. The staff speaks very little English, so be prepared for a language barrier if you don't speak Spanish.
