Also mentioning that this was a solo trip, and I felt very safe, welcome, and never was bored. There were many fitness classes that were awesome. I also got a massage reasonably priced and very relaxing. Different variety of activities daily, such as small art classes and souvenirs. Service (10/10): Many staff greet you at arrival. There is no typical front desk area, it is more personable with an assigned personal concierge that explains everything and is there to help you throughout the week with any concerns and reservations. Yunior was the best at answering any questions I had and very knowledgable of the resort. Gabriel and Veronica at the tacorini bar were the best at making drinks and very hard workers. Staff was always around for help, and very kind. Food & Drinks (8/10): Food was absolutely amazing surprisingly. Volcan, the steakhouse, was my favorite. I am very picky about my steak and I still loved it. Buffet was always fairly fresh, and they had a station to make fresh omelettes, pasta dishes, etc.. Drinks were typical for any AI resort, my only feedback is to maybe add in another bar/more employees. There is a swim up bar, however it is not very busy I think because it is in the shade. Pool/Beach (10/10): Pool was amazing, beach was also amazing. Only 10 minute walk or 3 minute shuttle. Rooms (10/10): Very clean, large, and daily housekeeping. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das Personal, das wirklich immer extrem freundlich und engagiert war sowie die Weitläufigkeit der Anlage. Man hatte immer seine private Ecke, wenn man wollte. Auch beim Essen kam es nie zu Stau oder Problemen mit den Tischen. Das Buffet bietet auch für Vegetarier eine ganz tolle Auswahl, sodass wir tatsächlich nie in eins der Restaurants gegangen sind. Die Aktivitäten sind auch sehr nett gemacht und man kann schöne Souvenirs mitnehmen. Der Pool ist ein TraumC auch hier niemals überfüllt, weil er so riesig ist. Das Meer ist einfach mit den kleinen Transportern zu erreichen. Für uns positiv: es waren kaum Kinder da, das Hotel ist definitiv eher für Erwachsene ausgelegt. We are extremely happy with Zel Punta Cana. Everything from the spacious rooms beautiful beach and exceptional staff made our stay here an unforgettable one. Carlos the activity director was beyond a pleasure as well as most everyone that worked at the hotel. The hotel couldn’t do enough for my family. The ride to the beach takes only a few short minutes and was a nice scenic ride through beautiful well kept grounds. We all enjoyed the golf cart ride and all the drivers were extremely kind. Food was delicious and service at all dining options was great. Our favorite was Volcan but all were delicious. I loved it got the zel suite and it was perfect had a living room, large balcony & large bathroom. The only con is I dont think there are elevators and we stayed on the top floor of one of the buildings. The beach is a few minutes away but they have a free shuttle going to the beach and to their other resort. The all inclusive was wonderful, they even stock your room with drinks and snacks. You should be aware that if you only speak English, you may have some communication issues.
