“We loved the nostalgic feel, the decor and the surrounding area. We only stayed overnight and did not have breakfast so I cannot speak for that but the owner did come tell me while I was enjoying the scenery outside with my morning coffee. Very nice place and people.”

“On our route 66 trip we wanted to stay in old route 66 properties and this one was perfect. These cottages were built in the 40's and they are adorable.”

“The Guest House in Carthage is your basic 1960’s Motel that has been renovated with updated interiors and a good kiss of maintenance on the outside. Everything was clean. Nothing was particularly special, but it was what I needed near the end of a long motorcycle journey. The gentleman who checked me in was professional, kind, and polite, even lending me his carport to protect my bike from the elements and provide a modicum of security. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it……

“The room was clean and the property was good. The price for our room was very good. However, we had a better breakfast at the Super 8 in Cameron, MO. There was no hot food other than what you could put in a toaster. I was disappointed in the available breakfast items.”
