Since close to the main entertainment area for a bit noisy till about 12 midnight . But rooms seem to be surprisingly quite soundproof . "We arrived at the hotel to be told they had no rooms for us. We had been travelling all day from Bangkok and it was new years eve. Char, our tuk tuk driver, drove us around until we found 2 rooms in the D'Angkor Prince hotel. We contacted Hotels.com who sorted us that accommodation for one night and a further 2 night's at the Mekong Angkor Palace. The staff at the Sakura weren't bothered about us in fact they laughed and said it had happened to someone else earlier that day. We had booked...

"The staff and the location were great, the staff definitely went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. The only down side was its not great for young solo travellers who enjoy the social side of travelling although I did get talking to some of the other guests at breakfast. However if you're an outgoing person then pub street is only 1 minute walk away so you're sure to get talking to people down there!"
