National park within 10 minute drive. Property is Absolutely Beautiful. Concierge was very helpful and accommodating. Shuttle bus to beach was very convenient! The view was impeccable. Loved every minute of it. Highly reccommend.

Tulemar is truly like being in paradise! We woke up to monkeys playing on the roof in the morning and jumping from tree to tree. We could not stop watching them. Brian was our concierge and he was the best! Anything we needed he took care of. We could relax and didn’t have any worries. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The beach was nice and they provided chairs and umbrellas along with food and drinks. I will definitely be back. Pura Vida

Tulemar was absolutely amazing. 10/10 would and will return. The Great: - Rooms and Views of Ocean are all amazing. Felt like paradise. - The staff and especially concierge are all friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful - Mini-National park vibes. We saw more animals at Tulemar (Many sloth, tons of Monkeys, Macaw, Toucan, etc) than on our park tours. - Golf cart service anyone on property or immediate surrounding area - Beautiful Private Beach with restaurant and drink service, towels, etc. The Good: - Tule cafe some of the best food in the area. Definitely not cheap, but compared to other resort restaurants it was towards the top. I recommend Namaste, Monarca, and Naganta for offsite options. - If you want to go somewhere offsite further than the carts allow, they’ll default book you a cab. Make sure you say you don’t need one and just Uber, it’s 5x cheaper. The Bad - Nothing in this category, truly. But there are some warnings: 1) Even with golf cart service, some properties (like ours) are still a decent 5-10 min walk to the cart path. The property is VERY hilly and built on side of a mountain - so expect a mini workout every day. 2) Don’t feel limited to the tour/activity options they offer. Explore options through Expedia and Viator- compare prices and reviews, there’s more elevated experiences out there. Overall, for a relaxing and carefree trip to a tropical paradise, don’t look much further than Tulemar. We had an amazing honeymoon and will return.

The sense of privacy was unique. There was a hot/cold shower/tub on the patio facing a gorgeous ocean view. Easy walk to a secluded beach with excellent food/beverage service and free boogie boards. Excellence on every level.
