“Fueron muy atentos al esperarnos ya que llegamos pasadas 6:30 pm en quito a esta hora oscurecer, aunque no tiene estacionamiento hay dos a una cuadra y media, la propiedad en buenas condiciones adecuada.”

The positives-right in the heart of Old Town, nice rooftop view, clearly an older building with lots of history, breakfast included, the price can’t be beat The negatives-I had a lot of luggage (just returned from dive trip in Galapagos), and had to haul it up 3 flights of stairs and it was a maze to get to, the shower did not drain and there were a few bugs in it, the bed was very hard All in all, I can’t complain because it was very cheap. “The hotel from outside was simple but once you go inside the doors I was impressed how well maintained and clean it was. The rooms are large and immaculately clean. The area has everything you need to walk to , restaurants, cafes, sites. I felt very safe staying here. They open the front door and lock them when you need to leave. Very friendly staff. They even made us breakfast to go and coffee for our early morning flight.”

“Rincon Family was a complete disappointment. I strongly recommend visiting the property before booking, as the photos shown on Expedia did not accurately represent the actual condition and felt extremely misleading. The front desk staff was courteous, but once we entered the rooms, the problems became obvious. One room had a strong sewer-like smell, very dim lighting, and did not feel clean. The second room appeared to have an unfinished or poorly executed bathroom remodel. The toilet and shower……

“We are so pleased and happy with our time in Hotel Sucre. The staff is top of the line, everyone was very happy to help out and make us comfortable was their main goal. Location is supreme, restaurant food was amazing, rooms were very clean and comfortable, the balcony looking out to the main Plaza is amazing. Gabriel and his staff are amazing. Definitely this is the best option in the historical center. DO NOT SPEND DOUBLE THE MONEY IN HOTEL GARGOTENAS, IS NOT WORTH IT.”

“Ein sehr geschmackvoll hergerichtetes Boutique Hotel, leider an einer sehr lauten Hauptstraße. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen ein Zimmer mit Fenster, was nicht alle Zimmer haben. Unglücklicherweise spricht niemand Englisch, was eine Verständigung erschwert.”

“The place was clean and tidy. The airport shuttle service was good; they even stopped by the bank for me before heading to the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. They replied to messages promptly. They also provided hot breakfast with different choices. Just one bad thing, the shower water was cold.”

“While the hotel staff themselves were warm and professional, the overall experience was deeply disappointing due to extensive construction that was not adequately disclosed. Most concerning was a serious privacy incident. On Wednesday morning, while I was undressed in my room, a construction worker appeared directly outside my window and remained there momentarily.”
