“Great location, very helpful staff. Nice spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was very good. It can be a bit noisy at night due to the location in the city centre but I would stay there again when in Quito.”

“You get what you pay for. The positives-right in the heart of Old Town, nice rooftop view, clearly an older building with lots of history, breakfast included, the price can’t be beat The negatives-I had a lot of luggage (just returned from dive trip in Galapagos), and had to haul it up 3 flights of stairs and it was a maze to get to, the shower did not drain and there were a few bugs in it, the bed was very hard All in all, I can’t complain because it was very cheap. But I should know better as……

“Great room. Maid service 2xs a day. Very clean and comfortable. Location was great close to bars and restaurants.”

“The place was clean and tidy. The airport shuttle service was good; they even stopped by the bank for me before heading to the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. They replied to messages promptly. They also provided hot breakfast with different choices. Just one bad thing, the shower water was cold.”

“The hotel from outside was simple but once you go inside the doors I was impressed how well maintained and clean it was. The rooms are large and immaculately clean. The area has everything you need to walk to , restaurants, cafes, sites. I felt very safe staying here. They open the front door and lock them when you need to leave. Very friendly staff. They even made us breakfast to go and coffee for our early morning flight.”

“Hotel muy decente , buena atención, cerca al coliseo Rumiñahui , agua caliente muy bien , toallas limpias , todo el personal muy amable , pero en el restaurante 45 minutos desde que pedí el plato hasta que me lo trajeron”

“WiFi was decent but did break up sometimes. Friendly staff but often didn’t have information such as once I asked about laundry and the staff wasn’t sure and didn’t try to help and find out. It’s a budget hostel, good value for the money in the city historic center. You can walk alone at night u til about 830-9pm. Uber is plentiful. Decent traditional restaurants around within walking distance. Hostel is quiet except for the construction - so be mindful if you take naps or sleep in behind 8am.……

“The property was extremely clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very attentive and always available to answer questions. Highly recommend Vista Del Angel, we had a great time.”

“Todo me gustó, las personas del hotel son muy amables”

“Wonderful stay. Breakfast buffet was delicious and offered familiar option as well as an opportunity to try local cuisine. The room was quaint and very clean. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the visit.”

“Excelente servicio, limpieza y ubicación.”

“The loveliest one night stay at Friends Hotel. Checked me in as soon as I arrived even though it was many hours before check in time (greatly appreciated as I was so tired!) Clean, comfy room with a balcony giving views up the mountain. Delicious breakfast with great views from the rooftop. Couldn't be more accomodating. Wish I had stayed longer, will definitely be back!”

“早餐不錯，有已經切好不同款式的水果供應，酒店員工服務親切 不過我住的酒店房間可能靠近街道，所以聲音比較嘈吵（通常晚上12點至到五點就平靜）”

“Staff was extremely helpful”
