Friends Reunion

Great for friends or family meeting up or for an occasion where you want a laidback, bachy feel! We loved the main hangout living room area, great party room!

Great funky place for a group of 14

We enjoyed the big barn house with a huge table for meals for 14 and all the caravans and cabins located around the property that offered privacy. The spa was a tear after surfing and the kids loved the plunge pool and karaoke with disco lights!

This stay is 10/10

This place exceeded our expectations. The view, the property, the manager, the rooms, the spa, the pool, everything was amazing. We loved the fact that we werent cramped, we had space to be together and we also had space to be alone. We absolutely loved our stay, highly recommend Te Whare and am absolutely rebooking! Thank you Chris for sharing your piece of paradise.

Had an amazing stay at the Farmhouse. Chris was super easy to communicate with from start to finish. House had everything we needed and more, amazing views, so much space for the kids and to each have our own rooms, close enough to stroll into town. Spa pool a plus! We will be back, thanks!

Good for big groups

2 'houses' and several detached dwellings. Fortunately weather was good for most of our 3 nights there. Hot easy to communicate with, but place is run down.

Cool, quirky farmhouse with plenty of space in a handy location. The place needs maintenance though and is quite run down. Shows signs of being a party house not a family get away. Some Money spent maintaining toilets, showers and a leaky gas bbq and this place will be great, again.

Amenities: an absolutely incredible view from deck and very small living room looking outwards sea/ocean and mountains very beautiful to wake up to. The hot spa and small dinky rinky above ground plastic pool was a welcome delight fun for my grandchildren . However, I found this complex a discombobulated misfit that needs upgrading, cleaning indoors everywhere old, worn out old furniture along with its coverings which were dirty dark dusty musty smelling . Interior everywhere smelled pretty bad. Dark curtains . The old ranch house was big, unfinished unclean, cushions dusty, structure still incomplete, there was no nice floor covering, it’s a rat hole . The Bach in the back under the trees was nice but musty smelling, with NO bathroom. We were disappointed! Would not want to stay here unless fixed up properly fit enough to be an acceptable accommodation .

New favourite place to stay in NZ

I can't rate this place highly enough! We had a group of friends/family ranging from 4 to 47 staying here to celebrate my husbands birthday and this place couldn't be more perfect. The place is extremely well set up for a big group, the ammenities were great, kitchen is well set up, and beds and bedding were SO comfortable. Super easy 950m walk to the main shops. Sitting in the spa and looking at the stars was a highlight for us all, we've never seen stars like it! The kooky art throughout was an added bonus. We'll definitely be staying here time and time again.

Not quite what we were expecting. Location good in terms of beautiful view over the estuary. Plenty of space but all aspects of accommodation a little run down and 'character'.

The location is fantastic a 5 minute drive to raglan.

The location is fantastic a 5 minute drive to raglan. The huge decking overlooks the sea. The place is quirky and rustic and the longer you stay you love it more. Beds were10/10 in comfort with beautiful linen. Place was clean and rooms well kept. We had a gathering of 20 people ranging from 1 years to 78 and it met all our needs. Four modern bathrooms, two baths & a spa pool. Lots of choices in areas to entertain. This place offers an experience and will leave you smiling.

Great place to stay for a big crowd.

Great place to stay for a big crowd. The beds were really comfortable, the linen crisp and generous. The fireplaces were lovely with lots of wood available. The spa a great place to entertain kids. Could do with a decor declutter but overall we had a wonderful weekend.
