Killed a roach; dirty wash cloth in the shower area. I was on the elevator w resident displaying a liquor bottle. The front desk issue another resident my room. The front desk attendant came up and called several times between 12 &1 am to discuss the mix up.

Property is on the flight path for landing aircraft at RDU, very noisy. All the furnishings and materials were cheap. Carpeting all needed stretching and cleaning, many stains. Bathroom only had overhead light in center of room, no light around mirror so difficult for make up and contacts. Breakfast atrium needs windows replaced, all ugly with stains. Breakfast plastic spoon, fork and knife were so cheap could hardly cut a waffle. Entire hotel smelled strongly from Fabreeze, irritated my throat. Noise of airplanes so loud I had to move from top 4th floor to 3rd floor to sleep. Entirely unacceptable that I was told only on a text after I checked in that housekeep is only every 3rd day and I was staying 2 nights. This is cheap leftover policy from the pandemic. Not what I expect from Raddison.

This was a very clean and well maintained hotel, nothing much around the place, but very close to the airport. Breakfast was just ok, staff was extremely pleasant.

Staff member Azu was consistently unprofessional and rude. Even when trying to discuss matters related to our stay. Instead of speaking to us from the front desk she was raising her voice around the lobby living room area. Bugs found in bathroom. Poor attention to Breakfast area. Pool is out of service. Workout equipment is old and worn out.

Staff member Azu was consistently in the kitchen talking on her phone or with others regarding personal matters during breakfast time. Food, coffee, juice and fruits were constantly running out and I had to make her aware 4 times that something was out. Both coffees in the breakfast area and lobby were out. She's really unprofessional and rude. She's always eager to close the breakfast restaurant on time but always has things missing during breakfast hours. The trash was piled up so high it over flowed the tray area. I'm not sure how she is a guest service manager. Turned a good customer away with her attitude and attention to service.
