My reservation was canceled by DoubleTree, and they passed the buck onto Expedia, saying it was your doing. I could not travel due to sickness in the family; and my guests (who were listed on the reservation) never got to see the cleanliness of the room, or experience anything else except disappointment and embarrassment as they were told they had no reservation. A little girl was there to spend an exciting 2 nights in celebration of her 6th birthday, and apparently Doubletree could care less. Thankfully, Expedia has a better customer relations savvy—I was contacted, via several emails, saying that a full refund has been submitted (which is currently pending). For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend this particular DoubleTree. Thank you for asking, and for caring more about your customers than profits.
