“I booked the hotel because I had an early morning flight. It offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport. The hotel is quite new (2-3 months?) and the shuttle was not set up yet. So I had to use a taxi which was not cheap.”

A car for me would have been helpful but I needed a rest and the peaceful scented garden was truly heavenly. Lovely old furniture, healthy breakfasts,near the railway station. Warm welcome and kind hosts. A gem.”

“A long-established entity with what looks like a basic clientele of spa-using individuals on the older end of the spectrum. We didn’t have an opportunity to ‘take the waters’ but the outdoor pool (32c) looked inviting. Room was small but lovely views. Breakfast looked as though it had been ‘organised’ by anarchists - completely chaotic and vastly overpriced”

Sugerencia: añadir algo salado (queso, jamón o embutido de la zona). Habitación muy amplia, aunque sin aire acondicionado, que afortunadamente no necesitamos porque los días que estuvimos bajó la ola de calor. Tranquilidad absoluta.”

“Geweldig hotel, geweldige medewerkers. De aardige dame die ik in de ochtenden trof sprak vloeiend Engels (Gaelic), Frans en maarliefst een paar woorden Nederlands. De lekkere producten bij het ontbijt maakte het verblijf top. Volgende keer zeker terug met mijn vrouw en dan een kamer aan het terras/zwembad.”

“Our stay at Appart Hotel Spa Perpignan was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. Our room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, and even had an awesome large-screen projection TV with “idiot-proof” operating instructions (thanks for that y’all). The buildings and grounds were lovely and peaceful. Marina and Esteban were kind and gracious hosts, and made us feel right at home. They were quick to offer local advice and gave us some excellent tips on places to visit during our stay (the old city is amazing, and……

“My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Jean-Paul & Genevieve in their gorgeous B&B. Located in a small countryside village, we found the location perfect for exploring the wider area, though it is remote from shops & restaurants so you must plan accordingly. The guesthouse is situated in a wonderfully restored substantial village property, with great comfort and decor, as well as a very refreshing pool in which to cool down. Parking was conveniently nearby, and our hosts were incredibly……

“Nous avons séjourné avec ma femme à Casa Mia 66 chez Sigrid et Manu, et honnêtement… c’était exceptionnel. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de bienveillance. Sigrid est aux petits soins, toujours attentionnée, et on sent une vraie envie de faire plaisir. La chambre est spacieuse, très propre, avec un patio et une salle de bain très agréables. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. Le petit déjeuner est tout simplement incroyable : confitures maison, salade de fruits fraîche………
