Ray Roberts Lake State Park Tours

The room and bed were great. Upon arrival, I found a note on my door stating the property would be doing upgrades the week I was there and access to my room would be required by workers. When I called the front desk, the woman verified that was correct. I did express that wasn’t ok with me, I didn’t want workers randomly showing up and being in my room. The clerk became defensive and dismissive. It was rude and I didn’t appreciate booking a room and then showing up to the possibility of workers in my room. It felt like a pretty big ask. Just shut down what you need to renovate and don’t disturb your guests.

Staff friendly. Feel safe with a guarded community. Clean rooms. Beautiful grounds with pools and fire pits. Hot tub not working for a while but staff worked hard to get it up and running within 24 hours.

The condo was amazing. I mean, it's older and needs something's repaired (the dresser and some wooden doors in the condo wouldn't close completely etc but mostly from moisture and salt from being coastal, so really was as expected- no complaints from me!!) the layout was awesome, the beds were great! The space and amenities were PERFECT for our family!!! The washer and dryer were a lifesaver!! The balcony was used every single day! The heated pools and beach access and even tennis courts were all so wonderful! The couches were awesome for watching movies together and relaxing after long days of adventure! The kitchen was well stocked with every tool and dish you need to cook and operate daily activities. The large space was great for our family of 6 to do all the things! We played games, ate, hung out, rested up, swam a ton! 100% will be back! The staff were absolutely top notch!! They helped with anything we needed and we had a very chaotic trip lol!!! (Started with cancelled flights and missed nights stay) they kept our condo for us, they helped us with all of our luggage when we were in between reservations, they were super friendly and helpful with greeting you everyday, providing basics for the condo (soap and such). They always greeted you with a mailed and happily suggested things to eat or go do ! Can't wait to stay again!!!
