Overall the property was nice. I liked the location being right on the canal. The room was pretty clean and spacious but the tile floors were a bit grimy.
For the bad....we showed up at 6pm to check in and found no one in the office and several people complaining that they couldn't get their keys. There were two numbers to call on the outside and inside the office that no one answered. I went back and looked through my emails.... nothing about a key or lockbox. Went back through messages on Expedia and found the code for the lockbox and room number. So we did get our room, but it was definitely not clear even in messages I got from the hotel that very afternoon that there would be no one in the office that evening. One group went and stayed at holiday Inn because they couldn't find their code. Good thing we didn't need anything later, because there was no way to reach anyone.
