"No restaurant or bar at hotel. Pillows are awful Small like decorative pillows. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable."

Fireside Inn & Suites Waterville

"We loved our room! It was very spacious! Comfortable bed, cozy fireplace, and massage chair! Large TV with full size reclinable couch, coffee table, and the usual fridge, microwave, and Keurig. There was also a safe and ironing board which we didn't need but are helpful to some. Two luggage stands which was nice. There was a stand on each side of the bed with lots of places to charge electronics. Bathroom was very clean, but the pressure in the shower wasn't as strong as mine at home. Took longer to rinse my long hair. Breakfast was good with lots of options to go. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking and close to many stores and restaurants."

Best Western Plus Waterville Grand Hotel

"Overall a good place to stay, The handicapped accessible room was very accessible and made our stay better for my wheelchair bound partner. Room was clean but carpeting in room 140 was bumpy, which was a bit strange. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was generous."

Maine Cabin Masters Camp completely redone waiting for a Lake loving family !

10/10 Excellent

"Was extremely pleased with everything about the property, the cleanliness and our reception by Mary and family. We were somewhat prepared about what we would find as we watched Maine Cabin Masters, season 9 episode 1 where we watch the restoration of the property. But seeing it in person was amazing. Words actually fail me. Mary even went so far as to have a fresh baked apple pie (and a bottle of wine) waiting on us when we arrived. Anyone staying in this area should visit the Apple Shed Kitchen and Bakery in Readfield. Everything we tried there was beyond description. Glad we don’t live closer because I would drive a hundred miles to go there. About the home. Everything was ready to move in. The kitchen was well stocked and she even had the makings for S’mores. Every dish, pot or pan you could need or want was there. Heating was no problem with an HVAC. Supplemental heating with an antique pot belly stove added a nice romantic tone. Games and DVD’s (100?) were plentiful. It was a comfortable home. Fishing gear was available as were canoes and a paddle boat. The fishing was good and listening to the loons were fantastic The outside fireplace was large and seasoned wood abundantBottom line, we highly recommend this property for your consideration. We also hope to be back in the future, but will fly in. Getting there, driving around, and heading back to Western North Carolina was about 3500 miles. But it was well worth."
