“I stayed over on a Tuesday evening, I arrived at 5.00pm to find the hotel all locked up, after waiting for what seemed an age, I found the gardener, she was very helpful, and called someone, she then got the keys and let me into my room, the room was very nice, however the restaurant isn't open, and no bar. I was looking forward to a nice meal at the Michelin star restaurant. I had to go to the pub next door, but they stop serving food early, so I had to beg for them to open the kitchen again……
“We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks.”
“I found the parking ideal right outside property and very safe. The property was spotless couldnt fault a thing. The breakfast was the best we will stop there again when we are in the area.”
“The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and had modern facilities. The hotel was in a good location for visiting sites in the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent.”
“Nice location, quiet and peaceful. Accommodating (we needed any earlier breakfast). Had a nice me in restaurant, good value and convenient for a one night business stay.”
“Spacious room , very clean , pleasant helpful front of house , quiet great nights sleep , 5-10 min walk to airport depending on how quick or slow you walk , plenty of car parking ( daily charge for parking) it's not a thousand pound a night hotel or a five pound a night b&b but a fair priced mid market value for money hotel”
“Stayed here for one night on my way down from Edinburgh to London. The hotel is pet friendly. There is £15 charge, not sure if it’s per night or once time charge. The view from the bar is nice.
HOWEVER, the lower level rooms (twin rooms) smells terrible. It smells damp. I had to ask to be moved to another room. Even the “upgrade” standard double room smelled damp. I left the windows open and sat outside for a bit then it was better. On google it says it’s a 4star hotel, I don’t think so.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. It is well located in the centre of Beverley, across the road from the stunning architecture of St. Mary’s Church and 10 minutes walk to the magnificent Minster. The hotel itself has wonderful public areas and the rooms are decorated and equipped to the highest standard. Wonderful bedding, beautiful fabrics, a luxurious bathroom with bathrobes and both coffee and tea making equipment. The breakfast service is excellent with a……
