The view is spectacular and the pool is great for early mornings, late nights and especially during the heat of the day. The hosts were amazing, left us deserts and we parted with more of them… they left food for us, coffee, tea, sugar, pasta, cookies etc. Treated us like family. "The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

"Great peaceful, quiet location in the countryside. Perfect spot for a little R&R. "

"Nicely situated with a view of the bay. Breakfast was served on our terrace. The rooms were okay, but the bed was extremely soft and worn out. There was a minibar with cold drinks, but only plastic and paper cups were available. The price tags for drinks and coffee were out of proportion. The Italian family was friendly at the welcome, but very loud, it was not relaxing to sit outside in the evening and actually enjoy the view. Our conclusion - good potential, badly ruined - really sad, especially, if one knows the outstandign Italian hospitality. Others have said the same - no change, why? However, the beach and the restaurant on the beach were both fantastic."

"Everything in this property is perfect. Anything you want or need is provided. We had a lovely stay. Enza and Michelangelo are there on hand if we needed anything but also keep their distance for your privacy. It is a beautiful and very special location and we will never forget it. We may be back."

"Luigi and employees were friendly and respectful and made us feel right at home. We had dinner both nights and breakfast as well which was included. The dinner’s were delicious and the patio is lovely. Be sure to keep some Euros to pay for dinner on checkout. The rooms were nice - watch out for low ceilings! Perfect spot to visit the Ruins! Would love to return some day !"
