As every place else in Sicily, driving is a nightmare. Dangerous, stressful, and no actual rules of the road. Lots of people blaring horns. The beaches that are easily accessible are not very special.

"Well, to start off we are American (65) and I sometime my expectations are higher than they should be. First off was the private gate, you had to exit the car to enter a code to open the gate. Heaven in western sicily
"Stunning location. Lovely host and super helpful nephew - nothing was too much trouble. . Beach a short walk away - will give you a good work out though! Remote but drive away from shops in Siculiana and other remote beaches along the coast. We had the best time. Thank you."
