Wine tour today. Started with Vintage Ridge, very nice winery, setting and ambiance. They offer wine tasting pairings of their wines with small tapas style food for each wine. The Syrah was my favorite. Very worth a try.

"Check in was fine, though 'go in the front door' was inaccurate as the entry is around the back and up a rickety staircase. Access to the apartment was fine. Furnishings are of good quality, though spare. The mattress was fine. The kitchen has minimal equipment, but everything was clean. The window air conditioners were very loud, especially the one in the bedroom, but worked well. Didn't use the wi-fi. Now for the negatives: the kitchen and bathroom taps ran brown to yellow foul-smelling water...

"First we found it strange that you enter into this unit through the bathroom. It is up a laneway behind a house and backs onto a subdivision. The “kitchenette” was not very clean with some leftover packages of food in drawer from previous guests and no microwave. It was a warm day when we arrived and the heat was on full blast and was controlled from another unit. It continued to blast heat for our whole visit. We were to stay for 3 nights and the first night was fine as there were no guests in...

"The property is a bit off its prime... the deck in the back is not like it appears in the picture. Not a terrible property, but a bit run down. I did appreciate that we were the only ones there and quietness was good for a great nights sleep. Great areas to walk the dog. The property manager was very nice and helpful.
