"We stayed at this Microtel a couple of weeks and enjoyed our stay so much that when we made plans to return to the Rice Lake, Wisconsin area we chose to come back to Microtel. "We loved this treasure of a home that has been in a 1970s time capsule. Beautiful layout, perfet for family and kids. Adult sitting area separate from TV area. Not that the kids will want to stay in and watch TV with this wonderful yard, back sitting area, lake w easy dock access. We did not hear or see any neighbors w the tree line and fence. Private dock area also. LOVED... LOVED this experience. We brought along a lily pad and the kids spent every free moment in the water. Kitchen set up for all the family meals you could ever want to make. DBLE oven to bake those pizzas for all. The sun room, amazing!! Bedrooms are nice sized, over sized master. Nice bathroom location on main floor. 100 percent, plus, satisfied!!! "

"From the time we booked our reservation till the time we left everything went very smoothly, Julie the property owner has amazing communication, every time I messaged her she got back to me fairly quickly. The property is very peaceful and looks exactly like the pictures. Was able to relax. We would have fires at night and in the morning my son would go to clean out the ashes to put in the ash can and it would be done already and more firewood in its place for the next time. She is an amazing host. The cabin has everything you could possibly need. We truly enjoyed our stay. "

"It looks recently updated. Couldn’t get any closer to the lake, and every room has a lake view for the sunset. Rooms close to each other, but all the other guests were nice and quiet. Good beach nearby."

"This secluded home on a remote lake was very peaceful. This place is ultra clean, very spacious, and ideal for a family or friends. We appreciated the ‘no pet’ rule as both of us are sensitive. It’s close to Rice Lake for restaurants and local events there. Carrie also decorated this place with a simple but elegant understated beauty, so it was easy to maintain for us. We truly enjoyed our stay, as did my brother and his wife for one night. We hope to use it again in our future. Thank you so much. Bill and Sue G."
