We were catfished!!! The pictures on their website bare little resemblance to what you walk into. The outside is not kept up and we passed the building twice before we noticed the building we were looking for was right in front of us. The interior decor is old, well worn and in some areas it’s sticky. The rooms are up two small flights of stairs, no elevator. The room are bare boned with minimal furniture, painted with several coats of built up black and white paint. The bathroom is pink, black and white from the 50’s. The grout and adjoining corner’s are black as is the rubber sealant inside the shower. I felt unsafe sitting on the chair provided. While trying to sleep there is no insulation to drown out any outside noise. I could hear people having a conversation outside my window 12 feet below and the street, Hastings, is way to busy to listen to all night long. We ate at the restaurant and again the pictures did not match what you walked into. It was an old saloon feeling, and I mean old. There was no air conditioning so many doors and windows were open allowing for numerous gnats to land and partake of our meal. The food portions were above average and tasted good but the gnats killed the feelings. The people in the hotel and restaurant were WONDERFUL!!! It’s just the place matches the surroundings and you are duped into thinking you found a pleasant place to stay. Also the price you pay is way more than it is worth. STAY AWAY!!!

Great location. Close to arenas and restaurants

This hotel was under renovation in some public places, so it's hard to get a feel for what it might be like in the future, but everything, except the front desk and entrance, was dated and dingy. The flooring in the room looked and felt as though it had recently been replaced, which was nice, but it wasn't carpeted, which was probably less nice for those staying beneath us. The furniture in the room looked like it was at least as old as the building, and much of the varnish was wearing off. There were hardly any outlets, so one of us had to charge our phone on an adjacent wall. The bathroom had no under sink shelving and looked as though it was composed of plywood. The shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot. All of this, and they charged us $380something. no thank you. Never again.
