House w/Private Pool - La Casita Downtown

La Casita is a two-story house where you will have the tranquillity and commodities that you're looking for in the heart of Rincon, at the same time a good nightlife and gastronomy just a few steps away or go for a walk to our beautiful beaches in less than half-mile away.

-La Casita has two separate villas just for you which are not connected inside. --The villa on the top floor has a kitchennette (no stove, just a hot plate), small sitting area, bathroom, and one bedroom with a TV.
-The downstairs villa has a sitting area, another bedroom with a TV, and a bathroom.
-The pool is also downstairs which gives more privacy and it will be private just for you to cool off after a good day of surf or just to sit back and relax.

Bars, restaurants, shops, activities, and more are just a short walk from the house!

Wonderful stay! Location to downtown, Steps Beach and the Lighthouse was great. The set up was perfect for two adult couples allowing each couple to have their own space.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is a little smaller then depicted but just what you need when you plan to be out and about. Easy to walk into town for restaurants, cafes, and bars! Close to all the beaches

Wish there were more towels provided. The hot water didn't work for 2 days it worked with a simple fix, but communication could have been better on that. Overall a good stay

Extremely dissatisfied with our stay
Upon arrival we experienced a number of unacceptable things: - The backyard was covered in animal feces - The pool was very dirty and there was also feces in the pool - There was a pipe on the roof with water constantly running keeping us up all night, soaking the backyard furniture, and soaking the steps to the back unit making it dangerously slippery - There was no hot water in the bathroom in the back apartment We raised these issues to the property manager and the pool was tended to on the third day of our 5 night stay. Had we known the pool would be unusable we would not have reserved this property. The steps were always wet causing a safety concern as we were afraid of slipping and falling, and the massive pipe leak in the backyard basically made the outside not usable. The couch cushions were wet with dirty water from the leak. There was never any hot water in the downstairs bathroom, making the shower not usable and forcing all 4 of us to use 1 shower. Had we known that the pool would not be usable for 2 days of the stay, the backyard dirty and covered in feces, the furniture drenched, and only 1 shower working properly, we never would have booked this property or paid the price we were charged. We are super dissatisfied with our stay.

Smaller than expected
The rooms were completely separate units. This would not have been an issue had we not traveled with my 86 year old parents. The steps down to our room and the pool area were somewhat challenging; uneven and steep. The pool area was not as pictured... there were animal feces along the railing around the pool and a big disgusting hair ball at the entrance of our room. The patio furniture was dirty and was not pleasing to the eye. The cleaning crew obviously did not care how the area looked like. And there was no shade... unlike the picture, which showed an umbrella. We did, however, enjoy the proximity of the bars and restaurants and the beach to the Casita

Great Time!!
The Casita was in a great location and we loved our stay! The pictures do not do this place justice, it truly is the cutest house. The neighbors were very friendly and everything is walking distance. If you are staying on the top floor get ready for hearing the sounds of the street and outside.

The location was not good. There was an awful smell outside and we could not sit on the patio.
Not a good stay, period! There were splattered mosquitos on the walls. The showers both sloped toward the inside of the bathrooms and the curb was a joke. The “pool” floor was dirty and needed to be filled, I’m assuming there was an extensive leak that you couldn’t see. Kitchen is not equipped for cooking or staying in. We ended up leaving for a different rental. We appreciate the effort on this place but it needs a lot of work.
