Did not like that I was on third floor walk up. More accommodations for safety should be made for employees.

Limón has a distinct, authentic vibe which is more relaxed yet still friendly and welcoming. Passersby on the street will say hello and take the time to chat or point out local attractions. It seems like a pricless time capsule to Costa Rica before big tourism arrived. Park Hotel is great. Breakfast is delicious and available early. Gorgeous views of the Limon waterfront area, located in a walkable neighborhood a few blocks from the MEPES/Caribeños bus stations, restaurants, and the city beaches with chill bars to have a beer and interact with the cities residents.

We loved the old world charm of the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The colourful tile in the bathroom and kitchen is very Costa Rican. The staff were excellent! So kind and attentive. We had two dinners and two breakfasts and enjoyed them all. The mature plants and palms on the property were incredible and the pool was large and clean. No complaints at all. Wish we could have stayed longer.
