Lovely staff, great location, great room and cleanliness. We stayed at the family room as a family of 4 and it was a big room and we didnt feel overcrowded. We lived it and would definitely stay again

Staying at the Grand Mercure in Rio was a great choice. Safe, clean and with the kindest and most helpful staff, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff had some great recommendations for places to eat which really helped us!

Overall great hotel. When we left at 430 am we had a staff member chase us out thinking we had not paid but we had paid in full prior. That was a bit uncomfortable he didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay. Other than that centrally located close to everything,

I got problems with my laundry that was not solved. The door of the room (502) did not close well, the service at the restaurant was poor with inexperienced staff, the food was OK. In overall. I am very disappointed that this Four Stars Hotel does not provide the services I was looking for

Mercure Rio Copacabana

The hotel is under renovation and it was extremely inconvenient to get off in the middle of a busy street with bags to check in and hotel staff to assist. The hotel reception was just concrete screed. Quite easily the worst stay in a 4/5 star hotel so far and I’ve been in more than 15/20 hotels in the last couple of years

The hotel facility is great, the service was good but it needs improvement. When calling the front desk for a service, they sometimes would respond immediately and sometimes they would forget all together. The staff was friendly and kind, but there needs to be more coordination, sometimes we would need to reach out to three different staff to finally get the service needed. Also recommend to train more of their staff in english and spanish language. Generally, we loved the hotel and would stay again, but there is room for improvement.

Lovely property for the price and right opposite Copacabana beach. Two observations would be, it took about 30 minutes to check in, and it was a slow checkout process also. Speeding this process up would mean the venue would be perfect. Breakfast had a lot of variety but during busy times plates and cups had run out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating!

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, lo único que me gustaría mencionar es que la comida del desayuno puede mejorar ya que he estado en varios Mercure le doy 4/5 el sabor puede mejorar, al igual que la comida del room service, el hotel es un lugar muy agradable y las atenciones del personal me parecieron buenas en especial (manuel el maletero y la chica que prepara omellettes y tapiocas) a demás de que tuve Early check in lo cual agradezco mucho, definitivamente si regreso
