Río Lagartos Vacations from $231

This place is not a hotel or even a motel . I got no spare pillow ,even when was a bunch of empty rooms . I booked a room with double bed but I found one bed only . The ceiling fan never works - the AC attached to the wall ,was tripping the whole time and when I went out and came back, somebody turned off . We were at 95!!! degrees -98% humidity The room has two showers and none worked; asking to replace one ,the water only came super hot ,like you can do tour coffee in the shower . One of the showers has a small whole from the roof letting all the heat weather coming in the room,wonder why my shower and room was always hot . The maid took my blanket away and never bringing back,I had a dry towel as a blanket for 5 days . I had a chair missing one screw ,I felt to the ground and almost break my arm .. People who work there ,just smile to all this situations . I requested since the beginning to be in one of the first floor rooms because I had an injury in my left foot ;nobody knew about that request and the offer was switching room next day . So,wait ; all this place have the same rooms ? Like is no double bed at all!?? I don’t know fromwhere this place is a 3 starts resort. Doesn’t have laundry either . Now I know why it was not guests at the property . I hope somebody go and inspect that place ,the place has 8 or 9 photos in Expedia ;at least 4 are real ,the other ones are the same but in different angles . Do not book here !

Best food and service ever

Diez Diez is a small boutique hotel with possibly the best service I have experienced at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The entire staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Rooms are unique and beds are comfortable. Can’t have a better experience in Merida.
