"The room was clean. Just need the coffee and milk filled more often. The breakfast was outstanding, anything you want was available. Only issue is the parking, it was really expensive to park in the recommended carpark, even with the 20% discount."

"Firstly, a real bonus to have parking on site! We arrived early so parked up and went into the attached restaurant, The Fat Badger to make a reservation for an evening meal. The menu looked very inviting and the staff were so friendly in the bar area. Just a querky place with great decor. The toilets were very clean, no complaints at all. Our room was Circus themed, with a four poster bed, which was a lovely surprise. The room was clean and beautifully arranged. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean and the shower was spot on. The Hotel is really central to everywhere. The evening meal was lovely with the staff being very friendly. We have no complaints at all and would definitely stay here again."

"Room was extremely hot there appeared to be some sort of ducting running underneath the floor and up the wall which kept the room unbearably hot .Food and service in the restaurant was very good"

"Brilliant stay! Our room (family room) was lovely and spacious with lots of storage. The swimming pool was a great little pool with a toddler splash pool too, and great showers. Little sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were a nice extra, and the staff at the leisure club were very friendly. The breakfast buffet had lots of options - everything you need. Also loved how easy it was to access York on the buses."

"The only negative thing about this hotel is the parking. The rooms are nice, the restaurant has a decent menu, (no cash, though, only credit cards). But the parking situation is not great. Only 2 handicap parking spots. For a hotel this size, that’s ridiculous."
