While the hotel looks like it would be a great place to stay, our experience was extremely disappointing. The room stayed 11–12 degrees warmer than the temperature we had the thermostat set to, despite having the air conditioning on. It was uncomfortably warm throughout our stay. The noise was another major issue. The room above us had children running and jumping well past midnight. We called the front desk four times, yet the noise continued and nothing was done to address it. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a good night’s sleep. There are also noticeable soft spots in the flooring in the second-floor hallway, which felt unsafe and potentially hazardous. This is something that really should be addressed before someone gets hurt. We were also disappointed to find that the hotel does not offer coffee creamer. For those who enjoy flavored coffee, it’s something to be aware of. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. We make frequent trips to Huntington and, despite the hotel’s appealing appearance, we will not be staying here again.
