"This BnB is easy to find and the couple are very welcoming. Nice quality of breakfast food, cooked fresh to order. No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. Would stay again and happy to recommend."

"Lovely location on a working farm. Friendly, approachable staff, nice room with a big comfortable bed. Room was clean apart from a few cobwebs. The breakfast was excellent with a nice range and dare I say it the local black pudding was tastier than what I'd usually get from Bury! Only niggles were, the shower door was a little small for larger people and no hot water from sink tap. "I had a very pleasant stay at Chimneys. A lovely old house, despite it being on a main road into town (15 min walk) it was very quiet. I had a cosy room with the usual amenities, a nice view and a private bathroom across the hall. There is a good choice of breakfasts, and they'll do their best if you have any special requirements. Suhel (Manager) was very welcoming and breakfast was ready when I went to the dining room (time & breakfast choice was arranged whilst I signed-in) I was free to come...

"Our stay was in a beautiful, warm and comfortable room, with good transport links and in a good location. However, the bathroom light never worked (which would indicate it not being cleaned either), no DVD player was provided when asked for despite being advertised as available, the bedsheets were not cleaned or changed and neither were the towels replaced- cleaning appeared to be to a minimum (ie the bin was emptied). Unfortunately our room was also left insecure following the bin being emptied...

"The staff were great. Had a really good salad. Nice pub and restaurant area But, the room needed a good paint. Shower needs the mould cleaned off to and the worst part was the mattress Thankfully i got an extra duvet to use as a "topper" to try and get a few hours sleep in"
