I would recommend Puerta Azul to everyone i know. My 3 year old son and I enjoyed our stay in a beachfront cabin surrounded by beautiful jungle and amazing people. Located in a very safe location and so family friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff is so helpful and kind. We will definitely return. Highly recommend checking this beautiful boutique hotel out!

The property is beautiful and the casitas are spacious, clean and have a small kitchen. Our casita was under an almond tree and it dropped nuts all night long…very loud. The staff was very helpful.

Loved this place. The staff were amazing and also very accommodating. We looked forward to the breakfast each morning. The food was delicious no matter what we ordered. Everyone was nice. Sasha was great! I would highly recommend Puerta Azul and if I get the chance, I would stay there again!

This place was a dream! A little ways off the beaten path, so it was very quiet and not busy at all around the Beach area. Great snorkeling right off the dock. The hammocks at the end of the dock sway you into vacation mode. Also a beautiful place to watch the sun set. I also enjoyed their included breakfast. They had a different item everyday that was prepared fresh each morning. All staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. I felt as if they enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed theirs.

My cabin was perfect, had all the creature comforts, great water pressure and I could walk straight out to the beach. The food was great! I looked forward to the breakfast every morning. The staff was so wonderful and helpful. I can’t wait to return.

Puerta Azul was magical, calm, and restful. But the best quality by far were the wonderful people who run the place. I highly recommend for anyone looking to really experience island life and get away from the hustle and bustle of things.

What an awesome gem on the Island, the drive into the property had me wondering but once onsite it was perfect. The garden cabin was exactly what we wanted for a short getaway to relax and unplug. The staff was awesome and very welcoming. The private snorkeling trip to Pigeon Key was great, we swam with the sharks and rays. The owners know how to spoil you while onsite, breakfast was very good. Also had an awesome Rum Punch, 5 stars all the way around. We are already looking at dates for a return trip.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was lovely, beach was always kept clean and raked. Food was fresh and tasty and we especially enjoyed the daily breakfast specials. It was quite windy for most of our 4 day stay, but when we finally were able to enjoy some snorkel time on the reef we were extremely impressed and wanted more time to explore.

From the moment you get to Puerta Azul you feel welcome and on vacation. Its location is outside the main cities of west bay and west end which is great. The rooms are spacious, quiet and well equipped. The dock is amazing and you can snorkel right off of it and swim to the barrier reef. The food is also tops. Everything we ate was delicious! We had a car which made getting around easy. Was perfect for getting scuba certified in west end at salty boogers. I could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The room was spotless, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent (we didn’t want to eat anywhere else). The beach, especially the dock, was perfect. Some palapas on the beach might be nice.

We were only there for 2 nights but had a great stay in a Sea View Suite which is a standalone bungalow barely second row back and 3 seconds from the beach. The room was very clean and comfortable, bedding was top notch. We even spotted a monkey lala lizard outside, he looked like a little dinosaur. Highly recommend this property, and the restaurant is fantastic.
