Our original intention was to stay a few days and then head back to the mainland to see some of the other sites Honduras has to offer. We got to West End and only left to catch our flight back to the States. It was so low key, the water and sand amazing and our room with a porch and hammock with an ocean view was very affordable! The scuba diving here was really good and cheap. The espresso machine was broken our entire stay. The cleanliness our unit was just OK. Housekeeping only came once during our stay, and that was after we went to the front desk to request it. The pool is gorgeous, perfect temperature, and never overly busy during our stay. The location of the resort is excellent. It was a very short walk to the beach. We utilized the wristbands for the San Simon beach club each day. Our unit had laundry in it, which was very beneficial. Overall, we were happy with our stay at the resort and would come back. Ahead of our trip I communicated with the resort via WhatsApp about a couple of things and I got a few different answers from a few different staff at the resort, so that was confusing."
