“3 days was way too short to spend in the area, we are already planning a return trip! Owners were responsive and accommodating on one small issue, the house was gorgeous and very clean! “The cottage was very cute. It definitely could have been cleaner, as there were waxy lip prints on the bedroom window and a few dark smudges on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. Also, it wasn’t made clear in the description that most of the one-lane, curvy road leading to the property was dirt/gravel. If it had been raining, it would have been pretty treacherous in a small car. My SUV handled it fine, but it did get very dirty. Overall, the property was quiet, comfortable and fairly well……

“We came for two nights to escape NOVA for a bit with our kids and dog and it was so lovely! We started with lunch and wine at the Tasting Room and it was delicious, the staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, and the decor and grounds were really cute. Guy let us check in early as the house was ready and it was so gorgeously decorated. It really felt like a home, not a sterile rental. Our family didn’t want to leave. “The property was quite cozy, off the main road, and extremely peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub looking at stars was a great way to end the night. Located about 40 minutes from Lurray and a short drive to Massanutten leaves plenty of options for the whole family. The property seemed well maintained by the host and we felt welcome upon arrival. We will likely be back next year!”

“If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded outdoor oasis, then this is the place for you. The accommodations are modest and quite small for a family. However, if you are spending most of your time outside and don’t need a full kitchen then it would probably fit your needs well. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, taking in the views and soaking in the hot tub. ”
