Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. "My family had to drive up to Virginia for my cousins graduation from UVA. So this was a quick trip but seeing the views from the house were so beautiful, we wished we could have stayed longer! Make sure you have 4 wheel drive to get here, it is quite a steep ride up the mountain."

We loved sitting in the hot tub for a short time before hopping out to look at the stars. We’d happily stay again soon. Make sure you bring everything you need (including paper towels and extra toliet paper) along with any ingredients (we forgot olive oil to grease the pan to cook) lol. "Exceeded our expectations for a National Park hotel. We had everything we needed, including a balcony with a view of the valley. There are a lot of hiking options nearby, as well as a restaurant, park shop, and Starbucks walking distance from most of the cabins/rooms (up a hill in case you have someone with mobility issues). They left extra towels in one of the drawers as well. "
