About this property

House in the trees with City View

  • (This home is HC accessible to enter but is not a HC accessible home. It is HC friendly with spaced furniture and wide doors but that is the extent) Welcome to Haakon House, known to those that have stayed as "The Healing House"! Located in a quiet cul-de-sac near the hustle and bustle of downtown, minutes away from your meetings and/or appointments. Most commutes are between 5-10 minutes including Mayo. Nice neighbors, safe area, nature all around including a little trail through the trees. The wild life is very entertaining and we welcome pictures from your stay for the website! Great for bird watching, watching the deer roam or the chipmunks play. Hot Air Balloons lift off from down the hill quite often in the summer. The paved but steep trail behind the house is great for heading out for a walk or bike ride.
