The Aspen Select appears to be the more average version of the fancier Aspen Suites, which is right next door. Both are directly across the street from St. Mary’s Hospital, which is very convenient. The front desk staff were pleasant, and there is a nice variety for breakfast. What I did not like is that it was very warm on my floor (3rd) and in my room, in mid November. My room stayed at 77° the whole time I was there, which made sleeping difficult, and I think the hallway had to be 85. There was a thermostat in my room, but it was turned to 69°. I inquired at the desk about it and was told they could give me a fan, but they had no way of controlling it because it was a boiler heating system. Other than that, my room was comfortable and clean.

Great room and stay!

They have done a lot of updates and have made great progress towards making a great hotel. Easy access to highway 52.

Staff stood out. Especially and mostly Colton and Tae. Very professional, helpful, and polite. Helped us navigate our stay. Very good employees. Bed were comfortable, room was mostly clean, and its a nice place to stay when visiting Mayo clinic. I love that shuttles were provided. Took the stress off of having to navigate through the construction. Continental breakfast was okay. Just your average options to choose from. Wish they had more hot food options. Was neat they had fountain soda available. Would stay again!
