“The location of the home is beautiful. Upon arrival home was set at comfortable temp, Our party of 9 were quickly able to pick our rooms, with enough privacy for each guest. The natural lighting against the wood floors so nice. We stayed here and visited Wallkill, Warwick and Patterson. Hour plus away from the location of home. Convenient stores located a few minutes away from home. Overall we are very happy with our stay and would come back again.”

“We loved staying in this large home for a weekend wedding in the area. All couples had plenty of room, with a bathroom in every bedroom, comfy beds, lots of living spaces, and gorgeous views of the valley below. The fall colors were so pretty!”

“The pictures are accurate but when you get there you see the furniture is flimsy, the cabinets and drawers fall off when you touch them and the yard is a disaster. There is so much stagnant water the mosquitos look like drones!”

There are nice restaurants and a market conveniently close by. The only negative is one upstairs bathroom has a shower and toilet but no sink.”

“Happy Minnewaska is a great place for making memories! Our family really enjoyed our time there, relaxing, hiking in the surrounding area and making s'mores around the campfire. The house is just as pictured, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for basic cooking, which is all we did. “We did not end up staying at this property because the host cancelled on us the day before. He reached out 2 months prior to tell us his pool would not be available and offered us a 20% refund. But he never provided it and did not communicate about this again. When we followed up about it, he cancelled the whole stay and tried to get us to change properties last minute. “Loved the home didn't realize when booking it was in such a secluded spot so come prepared. House was clean minus some hair in the tubs (around drain) the closet doors attacked my sister (needs to be reinstalled and tightened) upon opening and a few draw coverings fell off. we couldn't find a broom until 10 mins before checkout (we looked all weekend )other wise the place was amazing my sister is already talking about booking in the warmer months because the yard is amazing”
