Perfect base for touring This very sun-lit apartment is located on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of an elegant old building a few meters away from Piazza Navona. It is composed of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with a sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the master bedroom has its own private sitting room. The apartment has air conditioning (in each room!) and a wi-fi internet connection. It is characterized by period furniture and wooden floors. The apartment is located at walking distance from the major tourist attractions like Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Castel Sant’Angelo, San Peter’s Basilica and Colosseum and is well connected to all areas of Rome by public transportation (bus stops and taxi stands are easily accessible). The bus stop is just around the corner of the building with direct links to Termini railway station, San Pietro, Coliseum, Campidoglio, Quirinale, and so on. The neighborhood offers a range of fashionable shops and characteristic eating places, (trattorias, pizzerias, wine bars….) where typical Roman cuisine can be enjoyed so that visitors will really feel part of the atmosphere of old Rome. Our host was great, providing fantastic information about the area and sights to visit. It is in a great location for local bars and restraurants. The host was helpful in arranging transfers, much cheaper than the "travel" sites. My only complaint is that the showers are a tad small (but then again, I am 6'4" and 260 lbs). The place is as described, nice to have 2 full bathrooms and lots of room. The location is ideal, walking distance to all major attractions in Rome. Many restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores are very close. Communication was great and we were met when we checked in and given a list of recommendations for the area. Thank you so much for arranging our driver who met us at the airport. The apartment is exactly as described in VRBO and close to everything we wanted to see. Andrea made sure we had coffee sugar and showed us how to use the coffee maker on the stove. This apartment by far was the nicest place that we stayed in during our two week trip to Italy and France.. I would absolutely stay here again. Our family of four had a wonderful two week stay in Rome. The apartment comes with two self contained bedrooms each with an en suite. It is very clean and very comfortable for our family of four. The location is within 10 to 30 minutes walking distance to the popular attractions. Our host Andrea is most accommodating. He greeted us upon arrival, explained the working of the apartment, reviewed an information notebook he created, and returned calls quickly. We referred to notebook a lot during our stay.
