This apartment is located in the Heart of Rome Historical centre ("trastevere" district). The lower level consists of living room with kitchen corner & sofa bed. The upper level consists of bedroom, bathroom with shower box ("travertino" marble made) and access to the stunning Panoramic Roof Terrace. The PANORAMIC ROOF TERRACE has a WONDERFUL view on Rome rooftops (including St. Peter dome). Comforts: WIFI, A/C, flat TV, Satellite, Radio-CD player (with bluetooth to load Your music), washing machine, PANORAMIC Roof TERRACE (equipped with wood table & chairs, recliner arm-chair, "Weber" gas BBQ, led ambient lights and lot of plants, flowers and seasonal organic spices as basil and rosmarino. This is an apartment ideal for two people but that can also accommodate 2 adults and 1 child (on sofa bed in living room). NOTE: in the same building, side by side, is also located the apartment Trastevere Penthouse "unit A" (listing #289229: sleeps up to 4 people). Therefore, we can also accomodate larger groups too. This property is located quite INSIDE the "Old" Historical centre ("Trastevere" district). All the major sites are located at VERY easy walking distance. NOTE: the upper level, cause is the located quite under the roof, has a low headroom in some areas (headroom in the upper level goes from 1.70 mt to 2.70 mt - please see photos of the interior). Trastevere Area: the most typical Roman neighbourhood is located just over the bridge from the historical centre (and that is what the name means, over the Tevere river) became very trendy over the past twenty years, when the small streets and alleys typical from this area started hosting bars and restaurants together with some trendy shops still located in the area. The neighbourhood is the liveliest of the city and extremely crowded in the weekends. Beside shops, also very famous the Santa Maria in Trastevere church, known as one of the oldest Christian churches in Rome. This is a "NO smoking" property (with the only exception of terrace area). The location is amazing, in a quiet part of Trastevere only a few minutes from everything. Easy walk to the bridge to the center of town, and short walk to amazing bars and restaurants. Alessio gave us great recommendations for dinner and shopping, including a market in a part of town I had never explored on prior trips. The apartment was very clean and he thought of everything with extra towels, a comfortable bed, clothes washing machine, dishes and a spacious fridge. The upstairs loft bedroom was perfect and the outside terrace was beautiful. It even has a view of St. Peter’s Basilica. The stairs to the fourth floor kept us in shape, but were not terrible. And he was immediately responsive to messages and anything we needed. An amazing place in an amazing location and somewhere we would definitely return to. ##### Steven M. Room is in a fantastic part of town, very quiet but not remote. There are indeed 75 steps up to the room (Alessio kindly carried my very heavy bag up for me) but def doable. Only downside for us was that the bed was quite hard and overall the room was a bit too small; we were on a month-long trip so had a lot of luggage and no where to really unpack it so our open suitcases took up much of the kitchen/sitting area. ##### Erin N. My wife and I were able to walk to everything within 30 minutes for tours and historical building. Great food and shops just minutes away. We were on a very quick trip but the apartment was clean and had all the amenities needed. Alessio was kind, responsive, and very accommodating. The terrace was beautiful. I would highly highly recommend staying here. Alessio made check in so easy, was full of information and the property was delightful! The location is perfect and it was easy to get to many attractions. The surrounding area is full of great restaurants and shops. I would strongly recommend to friends and family and would not hesitate to stay with Alessio again on our next trip to Rome! ##### neal h. Great for restaurants and cafes and a very genuine Italian feel. The rooftop terrace is fabulous (well worth the steps). Alessio is a great host and he really helped make the stay. We had everything we needed. The terrace off the bedroom was amazing for early morning coffee and late evening wine. He gave us a great orientation to the property and we knew we would be well cared for if we needed anything. It was great to be able to control the thermostat directly. Best location in Rome, quiet neighborhood with wonderful restaurants and coffee shops within a stone’s throw of the property and also close to top tourist attractions.
