The check in was good and the staff here have been excellent in answering our questions and helping us book our taxi and standing with us to ensure its arrival back to the airport. The room is either on pavement level or just below. There are no plugs for the bath or sink so we had to plug both with a plastic cup provided. It does need re grouting! The air con is a blessing and many blankets are in the wardrobe. The bed is firm but comfortable. The cupboard door next to the bed did try to fall out and handles for the top drawer on a chest came out. The room is dark but overall did smell of damp. If you know you’ll be out a lot then as I said the location is great and this is a hotel that you will remember. Breakfast was a traditional Italian breakfast (pastries, coffee and cereal, not very fancy). Airconditioning worked (very important). Only thing I disliked was wifi connectivity, extremely patchy.
