Massimo and his wife were very warm and welcoming and always happy to help or give advice. The breakfast was nice - fruit, yogurt, cheese, a selection of breads and pastries, coffee, and tea. The rooms are not huge or fancy but for one or two people they are fine. My room was spacious and quiet. Staff are very helpful & reception give you a 24/7 number to call which is reassuring as a solo travel - never had to use it :) Telephone in the room would have been handy. Breakfast is cheap & cheerful & totally edible. As everything is individually wrapped it's handy to use for day snacks! As a solo traveller my room was small even though I was told I would get a Queen size room. In fairness, I never mentioned this to reception to give them a chance to rectify as I was not so bothered. The bed was either a large single or a very small double. But it was great for a single person. The room had a window & air con that worked. There was a lift to help get your bags to 2nd floor. Reception recommended some places to eat a 1-2 min walk away which were nice. Location is fantastic. So easy to navigate Rome's hotspots from here on foot. For further away places such as the Vatican, the hotel is 2-min walk from the Metro with lots of bus options. Being beside the Termini (train station) made life easy as the majority of buses/ Metro all serviced here & hotel is less than a 5-min walk from here. Area felt very safe. Just a couple of blocks walk from the Rome Termini Train Station. Very clean room, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, close to restaurants and market across the street. Was very pleased with everything. Roman Residence has a floor, in a building, with other “hotels”. Massimo provided excellent customer service during my stays!!!
